   Description: Has lovely
white button flowers that are useful in dried or fresh flower
arrangements. Historically used to relieve pain from migraine
headaches, painful periods and rheumatism. Used in folk lore, it was
carried to protect against colds and flu's. Do not use feverfew
during pregnancy because of its stimulant action on the uterus.

Insect repelling properties are useful in repelling flea beetles,
ants, Japanese beetles, squash bugs and cabbageworms. Tansy is also
used in cleansing lotion for treating acne; it has a soothing
effect. In folklore, tansy got its name from Anastasia, the Greek
word for "immortality,” and was often put in coffins as an insect

THYME
Great durable plants used in walkways between flagstone,
rock gardens, drooping over containers, and a companion plant
for those stonecrop planters we discussed before. They prefer
well drain soil and flowers profusely, even the culinary
varieties. They contain "thymol" which is a disinfectant,
antiviral and antibacterial. Used in bath bags or herbal
facials it is stimulating and antiseptic. Historically used to
treat shingles sore throats, coughs and rheumatism. Used in
folk lore, place a sprig beneath your pillow to ensure dream
free sleep or burn as incense or wear to attract good
